Hi Marguerite. Thanks for the follow. I am just reading your piece and spotted an error:

"This morning’s strikes also have killed at least three members of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PLO) which has not been involved so far in the escalations between Israel and Hamas."

The Popular Front for the Liberation's initials are PFLP, not PLO. The PFLP is a member of the PLO, but the PLO is a coalition of various parties, the largest of which is Fatah. Fatah and the PFLP haven't always been on the best of terms with each other, not least because Fatah supports a two-state solution, supports the Oslo process, and engages in talks with Israel, whereas the PFLP supports a one-state solution, opposes Oslo, and opposes dialog with Israel.

Also, it is incorrect to say that the PFLP "has not been involved so far in the escalations between Israel and Hamas." It is allied to Hamas (see here: https://www.dni.gov/nctc/ftos/pflp_fto.html) and took part in the October 7th attack. (see here: https://www.ngo-monitor.org/reports/pflp-involvement-in-the-october-7-atrocities/) It has also been cooperating with Hamas on hostages.
